Equipment

  • Baking Tray or Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Skillet
  • Whisk
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 4 cups french fries fresh or frozen, fried or baked until golden
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs cut into small strips or bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking chicken
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika for seasoning chicken
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder or cayenne for spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella blend
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise for drizzle sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha or hot sauce to mix with mayo
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the Fries: Preheat oven or air fryer to 425°F (220°C). Bake or air-fry fries until golden brown and crispy (about 20–25 minutes).
  • Season the Chicken: In a bowl, toss chicken with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken pieces until golden and fully cooked (6–8 minutes). Remove and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Make the Spicy Mayo: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and sriracha (adjust heat to preference).
  • Assemble the Fries: Spread hot fries on a tray. Top with shredded cheese so it melts from the heat. Add cooked chicken on top.
  • Drizzle & Garnish: Generously drizzle spicy mayo across the fries. Add chopped green onions as garnish.
  • Serve: Enjoy immediately while hot, cheesy, and saucy!

Notes

🔹️ Swap chicken with beef, pulled pork, or even tofu for variety.
🔹️ Add extra toppings like jalapeños, pico de gallo, or guacamole.
🔹️ For a restaurant-style touch, serve in a metal tray lined with parchment paper like loaded street fries.
🔹️ Double the sauce if you love extra drizzle!
